Graphisoft, known for ArchiCAD, set up its IT center in a lush Budapest suburb. Initially, it expanded its facilities and attracted other IT firms, transforming the area into a bustling Danube neighborhood. Now home to 80 IT & R&D companies and 5,000 employees, alongside a business school for 1,000 students, it offers a superior architectural environment. The founders’ emphasis on creating a green, park-like ambiance has led to underground parking, walkways, water features, and public installations.
